When using the all-in-one clips that come with our DIY Holiday Box, your lights will lay horizontal when there is a gutter and vertical when there is a shingle. If this is bothersome to you, to have some bulbs sitting horizontal and some vertical, you can purchase these shingle tabs to use on the shingled areas. This makes it so all of your bulbs lay horizontal and will look the same from the road.
On the houses we do installation for, we use the all-in-one clips for guttered areas and the shingle tabs for the shingle only areas.
